Hi! I'm Hindy Briskman.
About Me: I am a Professional Portrait Photographer. I love my job. My process is keeping calm, keeping it fun, and capturing the pure emotions that come with that.
What's my story? I used to shy away from that question but a fellow photographer thought my story was refreshing and we shared a good laugh. No, I wasn't born with a camera in my hand. Photography wasn't even on my radar until 5 years ago. My career as a photographer started out as expensive DIY project. My point and shoot camera broke, and profession portraits were expensive, so I went to B&H Superstore and bought myself photography equipment! My motto is if someone else can, so can I. And so, I started from the bottom up and taught myself the art and business of photography. What started out as a job, has turned into a hobby I cannot live without.
What I shoot? While most of my work revolves around Family and Couples, I also do Headshots, and Commercial work. And for fun- I shoot landscapes and street photography.
Where I shoot? Together with my clients, we choose a location that best fits the style we are aiming for. I also have a home studio located in Brooklyn, NY.
